What Makes Tanks West Liquid Fertilizer Tanks Superior
Materials
Our liquid fertilizer tanks are manufactured using advanced resin technology and a dense matrix of glass fibre
reinforcement, giving superior laminate strength (86 Newtons per millimetre in tensile load) to handle the increased loadings which occur due to the high specific gravity of Flexi-N (SG 1.33) and the new phosphorus based fertilizers. All Tanks West Liquid fertilizer products are built to handle liquids with a SG up to 1.5 ensuring the tank has a generous safety margin and will provide effective long-term storage of liquid fertilizers.
Chemical Resistance
Superior chemical resistance is achieved through the terephthalic resin system employed in these tanks. This
advanced system ensures the tanks are equipped to handle a range of fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides,
at temperatures up to 60C. Catering for the more aggressive phosphorus and NPK fertilizers of the future is
smart thinking and means growers will have their options covered into the future.
Lower Wall Height and Hoop Strength Band
Our unique design features a central hoop strength band. In combination with the lower profile of our tank, this greatly improves strength and longevity.

Industrial Grade Fittings
Stainless Steel valves and flanges provide increased resistance against corrosion and the moulded one-piece polyethylene fill file is more robust and long lasting than its PVC equivalent.
True Reading Level Gauge
This counter balanced gauge means that the level indicator tracks the tank volume. When the gauge is at the top, the tank is full. No more mistakes because the operator was in a hurry, you can see at a glance how much is left in the tank.
3” Fittings - Optional
These Larger fittings can be installed during manufacture to allow faster liquid transfer rates, saving you precious time during busy periods.
Safety Access Hatch
The two-part safety access hatch on all Tanks West fertilizer storage tanks restricts unauthorised entry to the tanks and provides your operators and family with an extra level of safety.
Prompt On-Farm Delivery
Our fleet of 6 purpose built delivery trucks means you get your order sooner when you order from Tanks West.

Super 60
This new addition to the range of Tanks West products is a large capacity tank manufactured from FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) using new mechanized construction techniques in composite engineering. This super large volume capacity tank of 60,000 litres has immense benefits for storing Liquid Fertilizer.
It is heavy duty, rugged tank with a superior chemical resistance together with impact resistance and tensile strength. It can handle liquids as heavy as 1.5kg/litre, providing a generous safety margin when storing Flexi-N & UAN which weighs 1.33kg/litre.
The bottom line for the Grower is that it represents more economical storage.
Having this Super 60 tank on your property as a single large capacity storage and filling station (full capacity 80 tonnes or 60,000 litres) improves efficiency by allowing for a full load refill whilst still having liquid approx 20,000 litres in your tank to continue without interrupting your program during the busy cropping and spraying season.
Avoid wasteful and unproductive downtime when ordering a refill, the Super 60 tank gives you the flexibility of continued usage of up to 20,000 litres whilst waiting for your full load refill. Another benefit is with its larger capacity storage it reduces the amount of interconnecting pipe work when establishing multiple tank installations.
When ordering a Super 60 for storing Liquid Fertilizer it comes complete with:
- 2” Butterfly Valve with male camlock and cap
- 2” fill line with Philmac drain valve and camlock connectors
- Tank mounted mechanical level gauge
- 4 stainless steel tie-downs
